  • The higher insulation, the higher temperature of the surface by blocking heat exchange from outside, resulting in a condensation prevention effect
  • The effect of surface temperature rising above the dew point results in condensation improvement

What is a dew point?

The temperature at which the condensation begins to form on the surface, the higher the surface temperature than the condensation point temperature, the less condensation occurs.

AEROFIX VS Elastomeric Emulsion Comparative Test Result

Superior Anti-Condensation Performance

AEROFIX does not produce condensation, and there is no deformation or lifting due to reduced water resistance even when left unattended for a long time.
(Test conditions: 30°C, 70% humidity, 15°C Blank, 23.9°C dew point in Chamber.)

  • Condensation generation
  • Long-term neglect of Condensation state

Strong Heat-Resistance Effect

Heat shield effect of about 31℃ in AEROFIX construction compared to normal CRC board on a heat plate heated to 100℃

    • Surface Temperature 94.0℃
    • Surface Temperature 63.0℃
    • Surface Temperature 90.1℃

Construction Cases

Prevention/Repair Condensation and Mold

AEROFIX solves mold problems and condensation inside buildings such as apartments, houses, warehouses, and basement through Aerogel’s excellent insulation performance.

Insulation Construction/Repair

AEROFIX improves insulation inside the buildings with the low thermal conductivity of Aerogel.

Construction Method

Recommended construction thickness: 2T

(with indoor temperature of 22°C, wall temperature of 10°C, humidity of 50%)
Depending on the site conditions, the thicker the construction thickness, the better the performance can be achieved.
